BLESSED CITY: HYMNS FROM WORCESTER - WORCESTER CATHEDRAL CHOIR
Strong local links connect the composers of many of the hymns featured on this album, with timeless uplifting melodies being the hallmarks of the overall collection. For these performances, all but one previously available only on tape since their original release the Cathedral Choir are joined by Worcester Festival Choral Society, to assist the "raising of the roof" in praise! The organist on this occasion was Paul Trepte, and all was under the auspices of the loyal and outstanding service given as Director of music, Dr Donald Hunt.
